HR Professionals at NC State

The role of HR professionals at NC State is integral to the success of the university.  It requires a blend of technical expertise in multiple areas, an understanding of human behavior, knowledge of governing laws, and the ability to provide strategic guidance.  HR professionals demonstrate leadership skills at every level within the university even if they are not in a formal leadership role.

Sprint to the Future! The 2020 annual conference will held March 11, 2020 in Talley Student Union.

HR Connections consists of HR professionals and representatives form all across campus. Meetings are generally held every other month and HR related communications are sent out via the listserv.

As the association for HR professionals in higher education, CUPA-HR provides leadership on higher education workplace issues in the U.S. and abroad. They monitor trends, explore emerging workforce issues, conduct research and promote strategic discussions among colleges and universities.
