LEAD equips today’s leaders with the tools and skills for tomorrow’s challenges. Engage with diverse methods of self-directed learning including online courses, group discussions, monthly challenges and more.
Beginning Aug. 1, 2024, L&OD will transition back to charging for most — but not all — LEAD courses. L&OD began waiving most course fees in 2020 in support of the NC State community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The collection of fees for LEAD courses allows L&OD to cover the cost of course materials and develop new and exciting learning opportunities for you. We’ll keep you informed about this change as more information becomes available.

A full listing of LEAD courses can be found on the LEAD Course List page sorted into main focus areas of the LEAD program and include REPORTER registration links. LEAD courses are available to all NC State employees.

LinkedIn Learning offers countless online learning resources to help employees pursue their career goals. LEAD will help guide NC State Employees to get the most out of the powerful LinkedIn Learning tools at their disposal, and help participants navigate to courses that align with LEAD and the LEAD Certificate programs.

LEAD Certificates are self-directed learning experiences offered to all NC State Employees who lead at all levels. The requirements of each LEAD Certificate include combinations of LEAD Learning Events, eLearning courses, instructor-led LEAD webinars and more. New programs coming soon.
